Today I started out from the House on my walk 'to get in shape' for the trek to Mackinaw, MI...As I turned onto Ford Road from Wyoming walking South, I tromped through the tall grass (I don't know why there is no sidewalk there)... and came back out on the side walk and there was a baggage ticket from "SHEPLERS" which is one of the Island Ferrys to Mackinaw Island, MI from Mackinaw City. The ticket even had an elastic band on it that you loop around the handles of bags. Where it lists the "NAME:_______" the tag in handwritten form says... "MALEK" which is Arabic! On the back of the tag "Hart's Haven" is checked. It must be a house on the Island where you can lodge overnight.
Now for some of you, this may seem really insignificant but for me it is an encouragement! I am getting in shape to walk to Mackinaw... to help raise resources to build our church in E. Dearborn which is 97% Arabic and this tag is for "Shepler's" which is located in Mackinaw! Could it be a sign of some sort? It is interesting to think about!
