A hurtful interruption!

On the Road to Grayling...

I am very sad to have to inform you that my very good friend and mentor Pastor Steve Byrd, of Charlotte, NC, who was my Youth Pastor in the mid 70's and later an Associate in Winston-Salem, NC at First Assembly of God in the early to mid 80's has gone to be with Jesus... 

I am stopping the walk North to travel to North Carolina to be a part of the funeral services.  I will resume my trek North to Mackinaw on Friday from Grayling, MI.
